The Dhammapada is a collection of concise but meaningful teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha in three hundred different cultural cases. These sentences were spoken by the Buddha himself during his 45-year sermon.
The “ Dhammapada “ Dhammapada is one of the 15 sutras of the Small Sutras of the Pali Sutras. This is a very popular Buddhist scriptures and has been translated into many important languages in the world. Many authors consider this sutra as the Holy Book of Buddhism.
“Dharma” means morality, truth, doctrine. “Owl” is a saying, a verse. “Dharma Owl” is the statement about the Dharma, the teachings of the Buddha, so the “Dharma Owl” is also known as the “Golden Sutra” or ” The Buddha’s Teaching “.

These verses were later arranged by the great disciples of the Buddha into 423 “verses”, divided into 26 “items” and recited in the Gathering of the Sutras for the first time after the Buddha passed away.
The Dhamma Sutra captures the essence of the Buddha’s teachings. Reading the verses in this sutra, the reader feels like he has directly heard the Buddha’s teachings from more than 2500 years ago. Each verse can be considered to contain the most concisely and faithfully the original basic teachings and teachings of the Buddha.

1. The leading of the Dharmma
consciousness mastery, the idea;
If with the mind of defilement,
Speaking up or acting,
Suffering will follow,
Like a car, the legs of a pull.
2. Consciousness leads the Dharmma,
consciuosness owns, the intention;
If with pure intention,
Speaking up or acting,
Bliss will follow,
Like a shadow, not leaving the picture.
3. He scolded me, beat me, he
beat me, robbed me
Who embraced that hatred, The hatred could
not be stopped.
4. He scolded me, beat me, he
beat me, robbed me.
Not embracing that hatred, the
hatred was calmed down.
5. With hatred to kill hatred,
Life is not possible.
No hatred to kill hatred,
Is the law of thousands of collection.
6. And others don’t know,
We are harmed here.
That place, who can understand
Debate calmly.
7. Whoever lives looking at the pure general,
Does not maintain the apartments,
lacks of
appetite , indolence, no need.
Ma threatens him,
like a tree weak in the wind.
8. Whoever lives in the shop is impure,
Cunning upholds the apartments,
eating and drinking with moderation,
Having faith, essential needs,
Ma can not intimidate,
Like rocky mountains, before the wind.
9. Who wears robes. [1] the
mind has not left defilement,
not self-made, not real,
not worthy of the robe
10. Who left defilement,
disciplined skillful discipline,
self-control, honest life,
truly worthy of the robe.
11. Not true, true thought,
true, not true:
they are not true,
due to deviant thoughts, wrong deeds.
12. Truth, know truth,
No feet, know not truth:
they achieve the truth,
by righteousness, righteousness.
13. Like the clumsy roof,
Rain immediately penetrates.
Likewise the mind does not practice,
Greed immediately penetrates.
14. Like a smart house,
Rain does not penetrate.
Likewise skillful mind,
Greed does not penetrate.
15. Now is sad, the next life is sad,
The wicked, two generations of sorrow;
It sorrow, it optimizes brain,
Seeing the defilement karma we do.
16. Now happy, happy next life,
Blessing, two happy lives,
It’s happy, it’s happy,
Seeing pure karma I do.
17. Coal now, the afterlife, the
wicked, two generations,
It laments: ‘I do evil’
.
18. Now happy, happy life,
Happiness, two life happy.
It is happy: ‘I do good’,
Born in the good world, happier.
19. If the person says a lot of business,
Do not practice, release;
Like those who just eat human cows,
No part of Sa monastic.
20. Oil says little classics,
But the practice, depending on the law,
Give up greed, anger, ignorance,
liberation mind,
Not cling to two generations,
Part of the subject Sa subject.
